Curriculum

1Month 1BeginnerBeginner
Basic grammar, roughly 100 kanji and 1,100 words — enough for simple conversation and reading or writing short, plain sentences.
2Month 3N4Elementary
Core grammar and around 2,000 words — everyday conversation plus reading and writing of simple passages.
3Months 4–6N3Intermediate
More advanced grammar, roughly 300 kanji and 4,000 words — conversation on general topics with solid reading and writing.
