Site worker doing carpentry work (daiku) under construction management. The company is a general building contractor handling design, supervision and construction of buildings and interiors. Capital ¥10 million, 15 full-time staff.

Requirements
- Completed technical intern training in the building (kenchiku) field, OR
- Passed the SSW No.1 construction skills test, building category
Graduates of Technical Intern Training (ii) who completed it satisfactorily are EXEMPT from both the skills test and the Japanese test if their trade matches the building category, e.g. construction carpentry (best fit), formwork, joinery, sheet metal, rebar, scaffolding, stone, tiling, roofing, plastering, interior finishing, wallpapering, sash, waterproofing, concrete pumping, furnace building, ironwork, painting, welding.
Other requirements
- Skills (one of): SSW No.1 construction skills test (building), or National Trade Skills Test Grade 3 in formwork, plastering, roofing, rebar, interior finishing, scaffolding, carpentry, sheet metal, painting, block masonry or sign finishing
- Japanese (one of): JFT-Basic or JLPT N4 or higher
- Education: not required
Pay and benefits
- Salary
- ¥230.000/bulan
- Bonus
- Twice a year (July and December)

- Books close on the 20th, paid at month end
- Housing
- Rent is ¥50,000 a month but fully covered by a housing subsidy, so effectively ¥0. Utilities are paid by the worker at cost.
