Building Painting (Kenchiku Toso)

The work

Exterior wall painting and waterproofing, mainly on apartment buildings (mansions). The work also includes carrying materials and putting up protective sheeting (masking/curing). Sites are in and around Tokyo; you are picked up from the dormitory and go straight to the site.

Who we are looking for

Japanese level: N4

Requirements

Former technical intern trainee (Ginou Jisshu) in painting (塗装) or waterproofing (防水)
Japanese: JLPT N4
Applicants already living in Japan

Both experienced and inexperienced applicants are welcome (experienced = at least 2 years of hands-on work). Pay for experienced applicants is set at the interview based on experience and skill.

Other requirements

Greets people, follows the rules and keeps others informed (ho-ren-so: report, contact, consult)
Tattoos OK if they can be covered
Preferred: standard driving licence and related work certificates

Pay and benefits

Salary: ¥250.000〜¥330.000/bulan (berpengalaman)
Allowances: Driving licence allowance: ¥10,000
Bonus: Once a year (depends on company performance)
Cut-off & payday: Books close at month end, paid at the end of the following month
Housing: Company dormitory (share house). You pay rent of ¥25,000, plus electricity, water, gas and Wi-Fi.

Transport costs paid in full
Work transport costs are split between company and employee (deducted from pay)
